Rosa Mexicano introduced
New Yorkers to an elevated version of Mexican cuisine in an
accessible, stylishly festive atmosphere designed by David
Rockwell. Brad Oldham joined the Rosa Mexicano team with the
opening of Rosa’s Lincoln Center location and has provided
custom work for subsequent restaurant openings in New York;
Washington, DC; Atlanta; and Palm Beach Gardens.
Each restaurant is different. Brad Oldham helped
create iconic features that continue the restaurant’s
unique theme in all its locations. In some cases, Oldham had
to construct the tools to create specified pieces.
• Custom front door handles to suit the
location, including stained glass mosaic inlay front door
pulls
• Custom wall frames
• Punched-tin metal screens
• Hammered pewter metal plates for “M” and
“W” signs for restrooms
• Hammered-copper bar top made from 3/16-inch copper
Rosa Mexicano’s winning combination of
authentic Mexican cuisine in a vibrant, jubilant environment
has garnered attention in Gourmet, Food & Wine, Martha
Stewart Living and Time magazines. The restaurant
has also earned the title of “Best Mexican” in
New York Magazine for many years.
